My photographic practice illustrates important personal narratives, bringing to the fore powerful emotions and illuminating the importance of the human connections we make.

As a social documentary photographer, I have a sensitive and nuanced approach to collaborating with the people and organisations I work with, creating bodies of work that reflect touching, complex and challenging personal histories.

I take time and care to have meaningful interactions with the people I photograph, facilitating a level of trust and openness visible in the imagery I create.

Working with both natural and studio lighting I offer a flexible approach to creating work that delivers impact and meaning.

My focus of interest is how the myriad of emotions associated with love, affects us all. Recent work has utilised both imagery and written narratives to quantify the unquantifiable – how can love be defined within the construct of romantic relationships?

Collaborating with Age UK Camden, I have also sought to uncover the life lessons people have learnt about romantic love on their personal journeys.

I have 5 years experience as a commercial photographer and commissions include creating consumer, lifestyle and dog imagery for leading brands including Luca Faloni, Caroline Gardner, Brew Dog, Genesis, Tewinbury Farm and Transport for London, as well as personal portrait commissions.

Prior to practicing as a photographer, I have 20 years’ experience working in Public Relations for a variety of organisations including charities, Foundations and not-for-profits.
